Annual General Meeting · 2026
AGMSilos and verticals in the age of AI
Chantilly & Paris
27–29 October 2026
The program
The program will explore two long-standing realities in physical industry potentially being reshaped by AI.
First, silos: organizational, data, and knowledge barriers within an organization.
The second is verticals: the labor, capital, competency, and supply chain limitations that have constrained expansion into adjacent markets and discouraged vertical integration.
Fireside chat
Prominent AI voice (and skeptic) Gary Marcus will address the AGM in a fireside chat offering a reality check on the technology's near-term limitations.

The discussion
Maniv will present concrete data points, from both within the portfolio and from industry at large, suggesting that silos are the first domino to fall from this wave of digital innovation.
The bolder claim, to be explored over the course of the AGM, is that AI could reshape verticals: technology won't knock out every leg of the stool that holds an industry's walls in place, but if it damages enough of them, might the two-decade trend toward specialization and against conglomeration be challenged? Might today's technology and macro trends encourage both expansion across markets and supply chain integration?
This AGM will bring insights from across startups, industry, academia, and policy to understand not only whether silos and verticals may be in flux, but what the implications of that flux, positive and negative, may be for investors and industry leaders alike.
